At a June 20 metal concert in Austin, Texas, Lindsay Rothschild-Cross' performance was captured on video and has racked up many views online. She told ABC's 'Good Morning America' that she is brand-new to the style. "I grew up amidst Guns N' Roses, and Alice in Chains and Iron Maiden and stuff like this," Rothschild-Cross recounted . "I've never really interpreted for death metal though. This is the first chance." The sign language educator said that she studies the artists before a performance. She tries to express the emotion behind the songs, not only the lyrics themselves, she said.
