Rammstein: 2020 Tour postponement to 2021

Rammstein 2021 Tour. Due to the rampant COVID-19 pandemic , it was foreseeable that Rammstein would have to postpone their European tour planned for May 2020. Now the band led by Till Lindemann announced alternate dates for the shows, all of which have been moved to 2021. The reactions of the fans in the social networks are quite mixed. Positive reactions from fans "Great news. They have really, really managed to keep almost the same dates and the same tour calendar," an Australien fan page of the band says in a Facebook comment. "Absolutely, I'm very impressed too, it must have been an amazing job to keep all the dates and move them all around in such a short time," agrees one of the band's fans. In general, the quick planning of the replacement shows seems to be well received by many: "Thank you very much for all the efforts to postpone a whole tour under such conditions it couldn't have been an easy task. I'm impressed and ...

Robert Freeman will always be remembered

Australian Rock, an addiction that does not come out Two albums that caught my attention this year had to do with Australia.  One is the one that for me is the best of the year, within the genres that I like, the last album Don  Bryan Estepa  ,  Sometimes I Just Don'tKnow  , who is Filipino by birth, but has grown up in the antipodes.  The other is not Australian, but has one,  Dave Talon  .  This is  Poor Little Things  , a group based in Switzerland.  Steppe moves in very pop terrain and  the little things  throw for the  hard rock  partying.  However, neither of them removes the smell of Australia, which is something that adheres to the melodic facet of the songs and is very recognizable.  Who best described this spirit - don't laugh - was  Johnny Depp  .  When the actor went to shoot one of the deliveries of the pirate saga to Australia, he had serious legal problems for n...

Overkill - The Wings of War album Review

Metal Reviews - Overkill Overkill - The Wings of War It feels like it was just yesterday that I was venting my frustrations with Overkill’s 18th studio album, The Grinding Wheel. But like clockwork, like Old Faithful, the AC/DC of thrash metal have returned with album number 19, and surprise surprise, there are no surprises to be had. I know that expecting Overkill to switch it up, given their track record, is not a realistic expectation. But I still can’t get past the frustration of the unaltered repetition of the same formula to churn out mid-tier thrash like an AI.  I’m not asking them to get trendy or anything like that; in fact I am actually grateful for at least their consistency in contributing to a genre within metal that I hold very dear.  In fact, I quite appreciate a band that can cling very tightly to and focus solely on what they know they do best. But it’s the fact that there has always been room for improvement in Overkill’s formula, ...

High school educator rocks out at a metal gig (sign language translator)

High school educator rocks out at a metal gig in Austin. High school educator rocks out at a metal gig in Austin. A sign language translator stole that show at a heavy metal show by her intense signing for deaf metal fans, ABC News states. At a June 20 metal concert in Austin, Texas, Lindsay Rothschild-Cross' performance was captured on video and has racked up many views online.  She told ABC's 'Good Morning America' that she is brand-new to the style. "I grew up amidst Guns N' Roses, and Alice in Chains and Iron Maiden and stuff like this," Rothschild-Cross recounted .  "I've never really interpreted for death metal though. This is the first chance." The sign language educator said that she studies the artists before a performance.  She tries to express the emotion behind the songs, not only the lyrics themselves, she said.
